Pablo Rodriguez and Noelia Hurtado

In 2003, Noelia Hurtado and Pablo Rodriguez met in the infamous Club Sunderland and started their artistic career together.  They have studied with teachers Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte with whom they learned the basis of the well known Villa Urquiza style, and they also participated in the Academy of Tango Argentino style. Noelia and Pablo have intensely studied with important maestros merging their unique style that is both traditional and new. They combine the attributes of Villa Urquiza tango and milonga with new elements and techniques of contemporary tango. This couple builds an elegant style with the strength of traditional tango, great musicality and dynamic movement. In 2006 they were selected as Metropolitan Champions of Tango Salon of Buenos Aires and Metropolitan Sub-Champions of Milonga. During this period, they performed exhibitions in the most prestigious milongas of Buenos Aires. Noelia and Pablo have been part of the most important tango festivals around the world and have taught in many countries such as: Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Holland, Poland, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Scotland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, USA and more.  This is their first visit to Los Angeles!
